About

The Cite Your Sources music production began in January of 2017, recording with Jon Miller (formerly of Icehouse Recording Studios in Pittsburgh, PA.) Tracking, mixing, and production continued until the winter of 2019. 27 collaborators were employed in making the 8 songs on this album. The roles that Lauren DeMichiei filled were : producer, songwriter, acoustic guitar, classical guitar, lead vocals, software synths and drum sticks. The project received a Lift Grant from the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council to cover mastering of the final songs. Cite Your Sources was mastered by Garrett Haines of Treelady Studios.
